Future Karaoke is a series of themed literary events curated by Cambridge Writing Centre, a research centre based at Anglia Ruskin University. Past themes have included Dungeons & Dragons, Supernatural Creatures, Poisonous Plants and Retro Toys.
Our 17th live literary jam, part of the Cambridge Poetry Festival fringe, features a mixture of Cambridge-based writers and guests reading new work inspired by fictional women with exceptional powers, from Supergirl to Sailor Moon, Buffy to the Bride, Bayonetta to Blossom, Bubbles & Buttercup.
